Signing Ceremony between The Hague Academy and the Office of the Solicitor General of the Republic of the Philippines

On 10 June 2024, the Academy signed an agreement with the Solicitor General of the Republic of the Philippines to organise and hold an Advanced Course on international law for members of the Office of the Solicitor General in Manila in November.

Secretary-General Jean-Marc Thouvenin and his team were honoured and delighted to welcome the high-level Philippine delegation, headed by Solicitor General Menardo I. Guevarra and Ambassador J. Eduardo Malaya, in the inspiring Green Room of the Peace Palace.

This second Programme on Demand designed by the Academy at the request of and with the support of the Philippines, which will be reserved for Members of the Office of the Solicitor General selected by him, is further proof of the Academy’s readiness to respond to the needs of States wishing to deepen and update their knowledge of international law and its practice.
